– Fresh Dreads: This is new dreads made from normal hair, using a comb and crochet pin, with no products. These appointments will be done with my partner to save time and my hands. Please email or call for an estimate as the price can vary a lot. I am still happy to do partial dreads on my own such as undercuts or just the back so please get in touch if that’s what you want.

– Full Maintenance: This is root to tip maintenance, it normally takes 3-4 hours depending on how messy and how long they are. Ideal for job interviews, weddings etc. please email for a specific estimate.

-Root Maintenance: For a quick cheap tidy I can do just the roots, and not the body or tip of the dread, this normally takes around 2hrs.

– Dread Reattachment: If you have cut your dreads off and regret it, I can reattach them for you once your hair is at least 3 inches in length. Please email for a quote, as prices can vary.

– Cutting Dreads: if your dreads are getting a bit long or heavy, or if you just fancy a change I can cut them to your desired length and re-round or fray the tips of your dreads so they look natural.

Dreadmonkey is a small business run from home in Brighton, Sussex, 1hr by train from London. Normal working hours are 9-5 mon-fri but sometimes weekends are possible, please email to enquire. A mobile service is available, it is £10/hr for petrol and £10/hr for time, so £20/hr travel expense, the max distance would depend on the job length so please email for more information.
